Greta is female and she weighed only 91 grams upon arrival Friday afternoon August 13, 2021.

Her eyes were just starting to open which suggests she was about 9-10 days old at the time we received her. 

After some trial and error and advice from expert kitten ladies, nursing mama cat Wren accepted Greta as another nursling in addition to her five newborns who just arrived on August 1, 2021, so all are close in age, but Greta was so starved and skinny that she was about 1/3 the size and weight of the others.

Greta would not be here today, if not for the sum total of events that unfolded as a result of this cat colony project and the amazing support received through our Henderson, Texas cat colony fundraiser.

The fact that all these circumstances converged to result in her rescue suggests that she must be one special cat destined to bring a lot of joy into someone's life.

Greta's transformation has been astounding.
