Pepper (male) and Buttermilk (female) were born 04/02/2020 to mama Drive under a pile of sheet metal in a neighbor's backyard.

Pepper has always been very skittish and he would run when he saw anyone looking at him from 50 yards away.

He and Buttermilk were trapped and vetted at about 3 months of age, then allowed to roam free within the house and through secure tunnels to the open-air outdoor catairiums.

Pepper is bonded with his mother, Drive, in a way I have seldom seen among cats. Buttermilk was independent and lived accordingly.

Pepper cannot be easily put in a carrier and must be trapped for transport to the vet. He does NOT do well in a kennel and has only ever been in one a few days while recovering from treatment at the vet.

Today, Pepper remains shy and skittish, but will now frequently seek attention and petting. He will also climb into a lap and relax until a noise or sudden movement by another cat startles him and then he is gone in a flash.

He would do best in a calm and quiet indoor home environment with someone willing to be patient with him.
